Established in 2016, NavGurukul bridges the deep divide between potential and opportunity by providing access to high-quality, affordable, and outcomes-driven learning pathways that prepare students, often first-generation learners for the digital economy

NavGurukul works to dismantle the structural barriers that prevent millions of young people from realizing their potential, by designing systems that make quality higher education, digital literacy, and employment access both inclusive and scalable

“NavGurukul’s impact is best understood through its learners’ journeys. When Kajal, a 17-year-old daughter of a rickshaw puller, became the youngest software developer to join Mindtree, it symbolized the change we aim for. Without a college degree, Kajal now earns over ₹15 lakh annually and has already donated back to NavGurukul to help others like her get the same opportunity.

Our Approach
NavGurukul’s model operates across the education-to-employment spectrum, creating multiple pathways for learners from underserved backgrounds to access upward mobility
Residential Learning Campuses
We run 9 residential campuses across India that host 1,100+ students. These campuses offer immersive, peer-led, and self-paced programs in software engineering, soft skills, and life skills. Students pay no upfront fee; instead, they contribute a small amount only after securing employment, reinforcing our commitment to education without financial barriers
Remote Finishing School (RFS)
Our Remote Finishing School program connects with colleges and universities, particularly tier-2 and tier-3 engineering institutions, to strengthen employability outcomes. Operating in 18+ states, RFS has trained over 2,000 engineering students in which over 70% of whom secured internships or jobs at companies like Amazon, TCS, and Wipro
Digital Access: Refurbished Laptops
Through our digital inclusion vertical, we’ve refurbished more than 10,000 laptops and set up over 400 digital labs across government schools and rural communities. These labs have enabled digital literacy access for 1 million+ school students across India, transforming discarded hardware into instruments of opportunity
Artificial Intelligence & Future Skills
Recognizing AI as the defining skill of the next decade, NavGurukul has trained over 30,000 students and teachers in AI and introduced project-based AI learning for 4,000+ schoolchildren. Our AI curriculum is now integrated into the national ITI skilling framework, marking a milestone in making frontier technology learning accessible to the grassroots
Government & Systemic Partnerships
We collaborate with state and national governments to embed digital literacy and employability skills into public education systems. 27 lakh ITI students currently use NavGurukul’s curriculum. We have co-designed Punjab’s official computer science syllabus for senior secondary schools aligning education policy with practical, real-world employability outcomes
